MEET YOUR COACH

About Lauren Miura

I'm an executive and career coach who helps mission-driven professionals grow, succeed, and love their work again.

I bring a deep understanding of social impact careers, psychology, and the challenges of working moms to my coaching practice. I believe that:

  • Fulfilling work is an essential part of a well-lived life.

  • Societal change starts from within each of us, as individuals.

  • Everyone deserves to keep exploring possibilities and growing through mid-career and beyond.

I create a supportive coaching environment for you to explore possibilities, dream big, and move forward one step at a time.

With my help, my clients have landed their ideal jobs, launched new creative projects, started businesses, and gained clarity on their long-term career goals.

Background

I hold an M.A. in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, with coursework in career counseling and development, adult learning, and positive psychology. I am also a Birkman Certified Professional (BCP) and a coach for Bonsai Leadership Group.

I have always been drawn to social impact and environmental causes. Prior to becoming a coach, I worked in marketing, communications, and strategy for several leading organizations, including UCLA, The Nature Conservancy, UNICEF USA, Best Friends Animal Society, and Feeding America.

I grew up in Florida and North Carolina, and currently reside in New York City with my husband and our two daughters.
