Career Coaching & Advising
With Lauren Miura
Whether it's landing a new position, stepping into your next level of growth, launching a new venture, or reinventing your career, you're in the right place.
Maybe you have been job searching for a while, but not seeing results.
Maybe you know you're capable of more at work, but you’re flying under the radar instead of being visible.
Maybe work used to feel meaningful and you're not sure when it stopped, or how to get it back.
You are not alone. Many clients come to me with these exact same feelings. Some are navigating a layoff or a role that no longer fits. Some are re-entering the workforce after a life transition. Some are just tired of feeling like they've stalled. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to sort it out alone.

How I work with career coaching clients
together, we will:
Get clear before we get moving. Vague goals produce vague results. We'll get specific about what you want and why, so every step after this one has a direction.
Co-create an action plan that gets you taking smart, strategic steps.
Refine your professional brand and positioning so you can communicate your value clearly, whether that's on paper, online, or in the room.
Check in and address anything that takes you off course — like the (100% normal) feelings of doubt, indecision, or insecurity that show up along the way.
Recommit to your goal as challenges arise, and adjust the plan together as things change.
I serve clients through 1:1 coaching sessions that usually last about one hour. If you are in the New York City area, we have the option to meet in person in midtown Manhattan. Otherwise, we meet on Zoom weekly or biweekly.
During our coaching sessions, I ask lots of questions, reflect back what I hear, make connections, and point out patterns. If you’re open to it, I may introduce new ideas or make suggestions based on my experience or what has worked well for other clients.
Most coaching work happens between sessions, and you will have homework and next steps after each session to keep you moving forward.
